Polar Bear, Polar Bear

What do you hear?
I hear a piper piping in my ear. Although it has been a while since piper, et. al. have posted, a lot has been happening. Actually, not much really. Nevertheless, last week piper attended her last tumbling class. She has mastered climbing the ladder to touch the flag, bear walk and circle time. Still working on forward roles and the flying trapeze. Adding to her already impressive list of skills (i.e. eating) piper has also become quite the singer, belting out classics like "do-re-mi," "itsy bitsy spider" and "twinkle twinkle little star." Currently taking requests, tips appreciated ... will work for food.

eat, dance and be merry

A picture says a thousand words, and by et. al.'s account we owe a lot of pictures on this blog. Not to say we have been doing nothing, aux contrare mon frere.

piper et. al. went to maine to eat, dance and be merry.

piper et. al. went to spokane to eat, dance and be merry.

piper et. al. stayed home to ... (you know the rest).

Where was I ...

From Piper heads to France 2010

It has been a while, but that does not mean that piper, et. al. have been in absentia. Rather, piper et. al. have been busy being busy. First there were the guests. Piper loved seeing all her family and friends including Grandpa Joe, Grammy Suzie, Grandpa & Grandma Johnson, Uncle Peter, Aunt Sarah, Uncle Chris, Cousin Charlie, Uncle Tom & Aunt Ann, and Emily & Katy. Thank you all for a great visit.

From Even More Piper

Although et. al. remain same same, piper is piping a new tune every day. She is now walking and has a few words (actually noises that et. al. recognize as words). Pipes loves to eat - bananas and cereal, cottage cheese, pasta and sausage are some of her favorites. She and nora have grown closer, often calling out to each other like lost lovers across an alpine valley.

Speaking of the alps, piper et. al. spent last couple of days or so in the Pyrenees in France. Rain put a damper on the biking, though et. al. did manage a few turns at the pedals. Check out vertical pandas for more update on that.

Back to the day to day. For et. al. that means work and for the pipes that means more learning, growing and playing.
